FITBODY Figure Competitor and Fitness Model Brandie Alexandria doesn’t just have beauty and brains. This driven law professor has the determination to make the impossible possible encouraging women to find strength from within!
I am a 39 years old fitness trainer, gym owner, yoga instructor, fitness model, international model, and law professor. I enjoy working out, spending time with my husband and two little dogs. In my free time I like to take a variety of yoga classes and ballet. I am a driven individual and always like a challenge and when anyone tells me “I can’t,” that something is “too difficult,” or that “I am not able to do a task,” in my mind it means make the impossible possible. I believe strength comes from within and whatever we set our mind to do our body will follow.
What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?
I have competed in two prior bikini competitions, modeling competitions, and this year I took part in my first figure competition.
Transformation info – How much have you changed in what period of time?
I train very hard and intense five days a week. However, I try to improve every year in some way. My lower body has always responded well to strength training, but my upper body has always lagged way behind. I found this extremely frustrating. As a result, Julie has changed that through her guidance and experience and translating this into my weekly routines to help me make the gains I was looking for.
As of this year, I signed on as an international model and I knew I would have to stay fit year around to be photo shoot ready at any moment. That is where Julie has helped me to maintain such physical condition and create balance in my life as well so I can continue to advance.
What do you enjoy most about fitness?
For me fitness is something that I truly enjoy. I find a variety of training methods, new records in weight, and conditioning give me something to work hard for and I always like a challenge.
What are your fitness goals?
My goals are to continue to get leaner and to further enhance the growth of my upper body.
What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?
I find that living a healthy lifestyle makes you stronger from within and this transfers to your life, work, and how you handle situations because you remain strong in all these facets of life.
What is the best part about working with Julie?
Julie is amazing in so many ways. She not only provides excellent guidance, support, and variety in her conveyance of knowledge, but embodies health and fitness and spreading the joy of making this journey fun and innovative.
I appreciate her for what she stands for because she practices what she preaches and is a realist when it comes to health, fitness, and hard work. She has been a solid rock for me and has been a blessing to work with in her Online Training Program for women.
What is the worst part about working with Julie?
Not a single thing.
What is you favorite healthy food?
My favorite breakfast meal is protein pancakes with peanut butter. I will take these over the traditional pancakes any day.
