Holly Logan

    Personal Information

    I am a 40 year old mother of 4 (2 of my own, 2 stepchildren), ranging from 7-16 years old.  Having 3 boys on a full time basis really tests the ability to keep food in the house! I am a business owner and have been running fitness boot camps for the past 4 years, in addition to personal training.  I have also been a Health/PE teacher for 6 years prior to launching my boot camp business.  I have been involved in fitness is some manner for almost 20 years now.

    What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?

    My greatest fitness accomplishments include getting first call-outs at my last NPC show, as well as placing top 5 at last years contest I competed in, and winning first place tall at the Mountain Pride competition for MuscleMania.  I have had a consistent goal when competing of lowering my bodyfat to a certain level, and my greatest success has been getting my bodyfat to between 8-9% for figure competition.

    WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU SEEN & WHAT HAS HELPED YOU MAKE THE TRANSFORMATION?

    I have spent the past 8 months trying to gain size in my back and shoulders!  Although the scale does not show overall success, fat loss and muscle gain has been monumental for me since training with Julie! My pictures speak WAY louder than any scale ever could.

    What do you enjoy most about fitness?

    I enjoy a structured plan and trying to reach weekly and monthly goals.

    What are your fitness goals?

    My goals are to continue to keep bodyfat levels low while gaining more size in my back and shoulders.

    What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

    My children motivate me to be healthy, but sometimes, I have to admit, I am a bit extreme.  I will say that exercise is a huge stress reliever for me, so that also motivates me, along with not having my clothes get tight!

    What is the best part about working with Julie?

    I love that Julie gives me honest feedback, but also takes my opinion into account.  If I feel like something is not working, I can tell her and she will take that into consideration in planning my program updates.

    What is the worst part about working with Julie?

    The worse part is that I am in VA and she is in KY-I am going to get there one day to meet her in person and hopefully go to a workshop, and even do the NKY again!

    Favorite 'diet' food:

    Oatmeal-or mostly any carb besides vegetables!

    Any other comments or anything else you would like to share

    I can (and have) done competition prep on my own, but it is sooo much better to have a partner like Julie to work with!
