    Personal Information

    I am 50 Years young, and I have worked for the IRS for 26 years – currently an IT Specialist.  I am AFAA certified as a Personal Trainer and volunteer at my local gym in Callahan, Florida.

    I have competed in powerlifting, in which, I have set American Records but something was still missing for me. I’ve dreamed of competing in a Figure Competition but fear held me back. I finally faced my fear in November 2012 and again in August 2014 and entered a Figure Competition – where I placed 2nd in Masters 50 and Over in the August 2014 show.

    What are your greatest fitness accomplishments so far?

    11/2012 – NPC Figure Competition
    8/2014 – NPC Figure Competition – Masters 50 and Over – 2nd Place 

    Transformation info – How much have you changed in what period of time?

    I have changed in many ways – my shoulders and legs are more defined now.  I believe the circuit training, and Tabata  Julie suggested has contributed to the difference.

    What do you enjoy most about fitness?

    Fitness is self gratifying to me.  It also make me feel more empowered as a women.

    What are your fitness goals?

    One goal I have is to someday have my story featured in a Health Magazine.

    What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

    Being a Breast Cancer Survivor (5 yrs.) – I feel I have been given a second chance at life.  I hope that in return, I can reach out to others and inspire other women to “Live Strong”.

    What is the best part about working with Julie?

    Julie always gives in depth routines, and her nutritional meal plan is explained in detail – no guessing.  Julie is always willing to answer any questions I have at any time.

    What is the worst part about working with Julie?

    There are no bad parts – other than I wish she lived closer so I could have a face-to-face consultation with her.

    What is you favorite healthy food?

    Vanilla UMP with Natural Peanut Butter and water or sometimes coffee – Yummy Pudding!!

    Any other comments or anything else you would like to share?

    I would just like to say “Thank You” to Julie for her guidance and sharing her knowledge with me.  I look forward to what lies ahead as part of my Journey and I’m happy to be a part of FITBody!!
