I’m a young mother to one precious baby boy. I competed in gymnastics since I was 8 years old, I was active in dance during middle school, then began coaching gymnastics in 2004. During college I was a cheerleader and completed my degree in Exercise and Sport Science at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I have wanted to compete in Fitness since I saw my first fitness competitor when I was 14, but had to gain the knowledge and confidence to get on the stage. I finally did so in 2007, and won! Afterward I got married, moved to Texas for awhile, finished school and had a baby! I still really wanted to compete and said “it’s now or never”, and that’s when I decided to work with Julie.
2007 NPC Teen Fitness National Champion
2011 KY Muscle Figure
One of my biggest accomplishments is getting back on stage after having a baby 7 months prior! I went from 30.7% body fat post pregnancy, to 17.8% on contest day. What helped me most to make that transformation was Julie’s diets and training, along with preparation. Preparation is really key to sticking to your plans and reaching your goals.
What I enjoy the most about fitness is the positivity that comes from it. It is a contagious lifestyle that keeps on giving. When you keep yourself fit, you feel happier, look great and are more productive. It is very empowering, inspiring and truly a passion. I also love all the wonderful friends and contacts I have met through fitness!
Add more muscle and definition. I want to continue competing in NPC Fitness and make it pro one day. Some of my long term goals are to compete at the Arnold and the Olympia stages.
Inspiring others and being a good role model in all aspects of life.
She genuinely cares. Julie is very inspirational and listens to what you have to say. She knows a lot about what it takes to get to the personal level of fitness you are trying to achieve and will help you along the way.
You don’t get to see her every workout! Other than that there really is nothing negative about working with Julie, she will help you reach your goals!
Chicken and “UMP” (vanilla) because they are both so versatile!
