My only goal is to look and feel great for the rest of my life.

Hi! I am Mindy Ryan, and I am from Laurel, New York. When I first began my weight loss journey, I was 44 years old and at an all-time high of 177 pounds. I saw a picture of myself that hit me like a train. I felt old, out of shape, and very uncomfortable. I was so stiff I could barely get my socks on in the morning.

After one full year of having Julie Lohre as my online personal trainer, my weight loss journey ended, and I reached my fitness goals, losing a solid 35 lbs.

"I've gone from a size 14 to a size 6. I haven't felt this comfortable in clothes since I was 12 years old!"

I have worked with Julie Lohre for two years and am continually impressed by what I have accomplished!

Now, I bounce out of bed at 4:45 AM, five days a week, ready to exercise. I love to work out! Julie always keeps it interesting and fun, believe it or not! (Although sometimes, while struggling through an exercise, I ask myself, who on earth came up with this one?!)

I did not think I was a typical Julie Lohre client when I first reached out. But, in her very first e-mail, Julie made it clear to me that many of the women she works with are in similar situations. While she does train women who are competitors, she also works directly with women who want to look and feel great in their own skin.

It took some time to settle in with the training and nutrition Julie created for me, but as our training went on, I became more confident in the gym and with the exercises. Every step of the way, Julie was there to guide me, and of course, she was always available to answer my specific questions. The speed with which she responds to e-mail is pretty wild!

The most challenging part of the program for me was the food, but over time I got the hang of it. Julie helped me build simple habits that kept my diet interesting, and I was able to avoid getting bored. She made sure I was never over-hungry. I am not going to lie; nothing about this was 'easy.' At some point, though, you look at your body and unhealthy habits and know you have to put in the time and effort to make a change. It is all about showing up for yourself so that you can show up for those that you love around you.

Now, I have a routine in the gym and the kitchen. I actually crave vegetables, I can't live without my Beverly International Ultimate Muscle Protein Pancakes, and I have no problem drinking soda water when everyone else is having a cocktail.  

"I still haven't stepped foot in a gym. I do all of my strength training at home with dumbbells, bands and balls."

This last year has not been easy. I've cried, and I've moaned, but I never gave up. Julie is truly inspiring and made me believe I could do it.
