Personal Information

I am a busy mom of two girls. I am a nurse and have worked night shift for almost 20 years. I have been married for seventeen years. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially boating. We all enjoy wakeboarding and wake surfing and love being outdoors.

Transformation Info

I have worked with Julie for approximately 8 months and in those 8 months I have pretty much changed how I look at fitness and diet. I have lost 4.5 inches off of my waist, have gained muscle and am overall more toned than when I started. Having a specific plan helped me the most with my transformation. I didn’t feel overwhelmed with what to eat or what workout to do. With Julie Lohre’s Online Personal Training program it was all spelled out for me. Taking pictures and checking in every 2 weeks kept me accountable and kept me on track.

What do you love most about fitness?

I love the way I feel when I am fit. Not only do I look better but I have more energy and am just a happier person.

What are your fitness goals?

My goal is to continue to workout and eat healthy. I love the way it makes me feel and love the example I am setting for my kids.

Favorite Exercises?

I don’t think I could pick one!! I love all of the workouts that Julie Lohre put together for me but I would have to say for whatever reason I love doing squats. My favorite workouts were probably the endurance ones.

What is a typical day like for you?

With working night shift a few days a week my daily schedule varies. But usually I wake up and workout, get things done around the house, take kids to practices, eat dinner, and head to work for the night at around 7pm until 7am.

What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Definitely my family. Not only do I want to be healthy so that I am around for my kids, but I want my kids to see how important it is to be healthy. And it makes me feel good and gives me confidence.

Best part of working with Julie Lohre

I don’t know where to begin with this. I love everything! Julie really listens to your feedback and adjusts workouts and diets accordingly. She pushed me to do things I would never do on my own. She gave me ideas with food that I love! I cannot say enough good things about working with Julie in her Online Personal Training program for Women.

Worst part of working with Julie Lohre

I can’t really think of any downside to working with Julie. Maybe just not actually physically seeing and talking to her.

Favorite clean eating food or recipe

Oh my there are so many! I love the pizza on Julie’s website. I also like to make my coffee in the morning and mix it with a scoop of protein and ½ cup of almond milk (it tastes like a latte to me) This is delicious and not being a big breakfast eater I can get a meal in and also get my coffee fix. I used to drink my coffee with so much coffee creamer which added a ton of extra calories, I haven’t used coffee creamer since I started this program and don’t miss it.
