Personal Information

I am 41 years old, have 3 children, and a wonderful husband that I have been married to for 19 years. I am a Gifted Intervention Specialist at Lake Local Schools in Millbury, Ohio. I have been teaching for 19 years. I graduated from Ohio Northern University. While in college I ran Cross country, Indoor and Outdoor Track. I have always been a runner. I have been running since the age of 6 when I ran my first ever 10K.

Transformation Info

I have always been on the thinner side expect of course when I had 3 children. But as I have reached that age of “35” I noticed my weight was a constant roller coaster and running was not as effective as it once was. Weight training and diet have really turned that around for me. I think my biggest changes have come in this second year because now I have been working with Julie Lohre for one solid year straight and it has made a world of difference.

What are your greatest fitness accomplishments?

I feel my greatest accomplishments came at early age when I competed in high school. I went to state in Cross country and also in Track. That athletic drive led me to follow my running dream into college. There I broke many records and made All conference in many events. Once I graduated I ran many half marathons, a full marathon, competed in one triathlon, and have always felt this great drive to be as athletic as I can be. This drive is what has led me into the sport of body building.

After two years of lifting and changing my running physique into a body building physique I have qualified for Nationals in the NPC organization at numerous shows. After two back to back shows in April, I am happy to say that with hard work and dedication I turned pro in the Masters Division at the spring NOBA show which is IFPA affiliated. This has been my ultimate goal when I started this. Many have asked me if I am done now that I have reached this goal. I am happy to say, I have only just begun!! I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

What do you love most about fitness?

The challenge! I love when I can bench more than my weight for the first time or squat a PR. There is always something you can strive for and it’s that challenge that keeps me going.

What motivates you to maintain a healthy lifestyle?

Everyone!!! My family, my friends, my co workers, the people I meet at the gym. The list goes on and on. Each and every time someone comes up to me and says, “Wow you look great” or “You are the hardest working person I know in this gym” or “What do you eat to look that good” those words are what motivate me. My children watching everything I eat or do motivates me. The idea that I can run and play outside with my littlest one and never get tired. All of these wonderful people motivate me.

Best part of working with Julie Lohre

Everything!!! She listens and she sets high standards. She holds you accountable. She cares about your health in a positive way. I consider her not just my coach but a friend.

Worst part of working with Julie Lohre

She lives to far away. I would love to actually have her work me out in the gym one day. I might regret putting this in writing. 🙂

Favorite clean eating food or recipe

I started lifting a little less than 2 years ago. This is when my fitness journey began. I saw a challenge and went for it. I saw how changing my diet and exercise was changing my body and I LOVED it!Chris Trimpey
