Who would have thought it possible to make Cinnabon-style cinnamon rolls as a healthy, high protein treat. This little gem has found its way into my heart with sweet, gooey goodness!
1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 cup Almond Meal
1 scoop Ultimate Muscle Protein
3 Egg Whites
1 tsp Baking Powder
Cinnamon & Splenda – Optional
1/2 scoop Ultimate Muscle Protein
1/3 cup Almond Milk (30 cals /1 cup)
Combine whole wheat flour, almond meal, Ultimate Muscle Protein and baking powder thoroughly.
Add in egg whites. You may need to add a bit of water to bring the mixture to a dough like constancy.
Sprinkle flat surface with flour and place dough on the flat surface.
Using a rolling pin, press the dough flat. You may need a bit more flour to keep the dough from sticking.
Once dough is rolled out flat, slice dough with a knife into 1-2 inch widths.
Sprinkle dough surface with cinnamon and Splenda as desired.
Roll each strip of dough to create a cinnamon roll.
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
