Standing Hamstring Stretch: The Scissor Stretch!

The standing hamstring stretch is a stretching exercise that targets the hamstrings, hip flexors, and lower back muscles. This stretch can help improve your flexibility and range of motion, reduce muscle stiffness and soreness, and also enhance your overall athletic performance.

One of the biggest benefits of the scissor hamstring stretch is that it can be easily modified to suit your fitness level and flexibility. By adjusting the angle of your leg or using support blocks or even a chair, you can increase or decrease the difficulty of the stretch to suit your needs. Additionally, the scissor hamstring stretch can be done virtually anywhere, making it a great addition to any pre-workout or post-workout routine. So whether you’re an athlete looking to improve your performance, or simply someone who wants to stay limber and pain-free, the scissor hamstring stretch is an excellent exercise to include in your fitness regimen.
