My absolute favorite comfort food to eat!! Simple Protein Muffins
Isn't there just something about pulling the top off of a warm muffin on a cool morning that makes everything better? Nothing better than to curl up with a steaming hot mug of coffee and a muffin before getting the day started.
Simple Protein Muffins Recipe Ingredients:
1 Scoop Ultimate Muscle Protein
1/2 Cup Graham Flour
2 TSP Baking Powder
1/8 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP Vanilla
1/8 Cup Sugar Free Syrup
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Applesauce
1/4 Cup Water
1 TBSP (15 g) Mini Chocolate Chips (optional)
Simple Protein Muffins Recipe Ingredients:
- Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
- Fold in wet ingredients. You may need to adjust the amount of water depending on the thickness of your batter.
- Add in mini chocolate chips and stir.
- In a cupcake pan, either use cupcake holders or spray the openings with a nonstick spray like Pam.
- Fill each cupcake opening 2/3 of the way.
- Bake at 380 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Check periodically to be sure they do not overcook!
- Muffins are done when the top turns a light golden brown. Do the toothpick test, insert a toothpick in the center of the muffin. If it comes out clean, they’re done!
